What a great time we had. Cody was a peguin and OMG he was stinkin cute. We handed out candy and EVERYONE (even the kids) were ooh and uhhh over him. We had people asking to take a pic of him in his costume! we only went to a few houses close to the house because seriously, HOW MUCH CANDY DOES a 17month old need? Well ask his nanua and dad and they will tell you all of it but they are sugar'holics and im NOT! we did save him some suckers that he likes...........wait he likes anything sweet. Please pray he has good teeth like the other 2 !~But isnt he just CUTE

WOW Cody is 17mths now and is such an awesome lil guy. He has the most coolest personality ever. we are still teething.........working on those 2 year molers already. that boys teeth are NOT coming in order. OH and he loves the outdoors, trucks, playing his drums and playing with daddy's guitars.

1st Camping trip

We took Cody on his 1st camping trip. We camped at KL Ranch in New Braunfels, TX (pics to come later this evening) but both his big brother and sissy were there. We took him swimming and it was so good to see him playing in the dirt and loving it.

Cody is 15 months and he is a mess! LOL love him so much. he has 4 teeth. I just bought him his 1st toothbrush so this should be interesting. We've been reading some books, playing some drums, watching some Nick Jr. and he is a NUT case and loves to crawl on the recliner and just laugh and roll around all crazy! he is so much fun and so lovey dovey! im really gonna miss him being little!

Well WOW Ive missed almost 2 months of blogging because I was lazy! Well we finally broke in a tooth at 13mths 3 wks........and there are more to follow and guess who's cranky? Cody is turned into a monster, my precious sweet boy is irritable UGH!

Well we've had a great month. Cody started walking 11 months 1 week...............no teeth yet but he is cruising everywhere. Tomorrow is his birthday and I am so excited about the day. we decided on a bear theme for Cody Bear. Will post pics soon from the party!

We are just turning 11 months and we are taking steps, letting go of things, no teeth, mean as ever, and we stopped nursing at 10 1/2 months. Cody is doing great and I am loving him even more as he gets his own lil personality. All I will say is that he seems like he will be the child I will have the most problems with because he is mean............yes people mean! He hits and scratches at us and give us evil eyes LOL but we still love him!

Well Cody is growing like a weed and we are having so much fun with him. He is crawling, blowing with his lips closed and making noises, throwing his hands in the air and babbling away. We are in love!

Well Lil Bear just turned 8 months and still not crawling -- still no teeth but I think something is about to change. He is pulling up in his crib and drooling all over the place and chewing everything he can. I anticipate a walk soon! I will post pictures of him tomorrow!

7 Months 3 Weeks

Cody is still NOT crawling and has NO teeth! He is STILL RUNNING in his walker and loving it. He sometimes gets down the end of the hall to the bathroom and gets stuck! We believe that he will probably not crawl long since when you stand him up he starts taking BIG boy steps.

He is a great eater. Bubba and I are hoping he is like us and will try something at least once. I fed him Alaskan Salmon last night and he ate it and actually liked it better than he does those stinking bananas (he hates nanners)

As life throws craziness my way I am so content in my life. Cody is the one thing these days that keep me at a constant calm. I am so very blessed to able to be a mom, not once or twice but three times to wonderful kids.

WOW I didnt realize it has been a month since I updated Cody's blog. So lets see, Cody is not crawling yet but is rolling all over the place. He is now running in his walker and is all over the house and trying to get into everything while out on the prowl. He still is a good baby, no crying or fussing much. Cody has been pretty sick these past few months. We are battling his allergies and ear infections. Other than that he is doing great. We all just love him so much. Here are a few pictures from this past month.

Well Cody rolled over last night for the first time all by himself. Bubba and were both there to see it and it was priceless. His arm got caught underneath him and he had trouble but he did it! He is eathing baby food, cereal and drinking juice. He seems to NOT like the bananas or the juice! Bubba says he has to eat his fruits and veggies and he LOVES his sweet baby carrots.

I just ordered his Halloween costume........we decided on a bear since we call him Cody Bear he's gonna be a Cody Bear for Halloween! Cant wait to post those pics. The plan is to go to the pumpkin patch today or sometime this week.

Cody weighed in at 15 1/2 lbs today. He has an ear infection in his right ear. He is such a happy baby all he does is smile and hardly ever cries. Bubba, the kids and I are just loving him bunches!

Well Cody got his vaccines today and he is such a trooper. He has mostly slept since - woke to eat and cried a bit (crying is something he doesnt do often) so I held him close until he fell back asleep. no temp so far.........he weighed in at 11lbs 11 1/2oz 221/4" long he is in the 50% for his age. He is well and happy.

Well I didn't realize how much he has grown until I put him in his swing. He hasn't been able to get in there because his head didn't reach the head rest support. Well guess what it does now. I guess he is getting big already and I didn't even know it!
he woke up this morning with me kissing his cheeks and lips as he laid there with his head relaxed just enjoying momma's kisses. All I can say is that is was a sweet precious moment.
I have 4 more weeks with him at home and I dread going back to work and leaving him for someone else to raise.

Cody has been doing great. He is growing and is on a great schedule. He is still a very good sleeper and is up during the day for playtime. He does like watching the fan and the tv. He weighs 9lbs. 11oz. and is a little chunk.

At one month Cody is 7lbs 15oz and is 20 inches long. He is very healthy and still sleeps all the time. I am so happy to be able to be home with him this summer, I wouldnt trade this time for anything.

Well Cody has turned out to be such the perfect baby. He is so sweet and handsome. Bubba and I call him Little Man because with all of his hair he really looks like a little man. We are on a nightly schedule and he only wakes up to eat once around 3-4am. and then when I wake daddy up he gets another feeding as well. We have been really blessed by this baby and I would not change my decision to do this for Bubba for anything in the world. It has been a huge change to our lives but only in the positive. We are heading off for his 1st dr appt today. I am curious to see how much he weighs now.

well let me start with an update. You all know Cody is here. Well I wanted you guys to know that I went in that Friday to get a check on any progress and right before they were going to send us home (around 11am) Little Man's heart rate dropped from 158 to 60. The nurses came in and started me on oxygen and IV. The nurses told me they were waiting on my dr to call back with details of what she wanted us to do and said that whatever my plans were for the day, my son has made it very clear that I was not going home that day. Anyhow an hour later I was induced and four hrs later here is Cody.

I am dilated and started to thin.....have an appt on Thursday! Doc says maybe this week but well see! I am hopeful but no full of hope! LOL

I've been having lots of contractions and pressure from little Cody but nothing consistent. I am getting excited about meeting him!
Bubba and I were married Friday May 15 th on our 1 yr anniversary and I must say -- things seem NO different here except we get to call each other Husband and Wife. It sounds kinda cool!

its more awesome to actually be his 1st wife and the woman that gets to give him his 1st child -- a son! He actually thanked me for doing this for him! This is why I love this man! He adores me and treats me so good! He's gonna make a great daddy!

Well I am 36 wks today, I am so excited about the next chapter of my life. I cannot wait to meet Cody. I think we have everything ready for his arrival. Gotta still buy my glider and ottoman, will make breastfeeding so much easier.

I have a dr appt tomorrow so I will post an update tomorrow!

35 wks today. I am very tired and was almost considering staying home and sleeping all day. I hate sitting here in this chair all day. I feel as if I am smooching my baby boy! I have my next appointment on May 13th and then I start seeing the doc every week. WOW I thought this time would never get here. Reminds me of what my dad used to say when we were halling hay....we would get down to the last one and he would say, "thats the one we've been looking for all day"

We have so much going on this month. Were getting married, having a baby, has the babyshower, and then right into June my son graduates from high school. I am so proud of him for completing the most longest 12 years of his life! WOW and to think I have to do the whole SCHOOL thing AGAIN! Thank God I have Bubba around.

more time for us to go. We are actually due on June 9th but baby boy has dropped about 2 weeks ago. I am 35 weeks and counting.

Bubba and I are preparing the house and organizing all his baby things, packing diaper bags (ok he isnt doing all of that lol). He has been awesome in helping me with things around the house, he knows I am nesting so he has been working hard.

we are getting married May 15th less than 2 weeks! WOW I already feel like his wife....cause he is so good to me now.
